2022:Feb — Nifty Trees
Posting a mid February update on the Nifty Trees project. Progress had been made and plans set for upcoming months. Really excited to see the growth of this nearly 1 year old project concept. I’ll post the origin story in celebration of a full year next month. Stay tuned.

January — Offer curated auctions of 1/1 NFT bonsai art > In collaboration with M5 Bonsai Works, we are excited to present blockchain based auctions of Sergio Cuan’s bonsai art.The Sergio Cuan NFT Collection
Sergio’s first 3 bonsai NFT artworks are ready to go! Sergio provided us the first three pieces of the collection which were minted and released on Kalamint.io. They turned out excellent and were well received by the community. We have continued to collaborate with Sergio and have plans to create & mint a full collection totaling ~12 NFTs this year!

Sergio Cuan Collection #1: SOLD OUT
This first NFT was minted as an edition of 50 which have all been purchased for the initial price of 2 Tezos. Have no fear, you can still acquire one of these pieces from the secondary market. At the time of posting, there are 5 available with a floor price of 11 Tezos.
Sergio Cuan Collection #3
This gem was auctioned off as an edition 1 of 1 from February 4th through February 6th. Congratulations to the bidders and to the winner for adding this to their collection!
Discord Demo & NFT Minting
For fun, Nifty Trees hosted an ad hoc demo in Discord on January 14th, 2022. Brandon, aka WizardsKnow, performed a repot of a yamadori Cedar Elm collected from Llano, Tx last winter. The tree moved from a blue plastic cat box into a wild rock like container by Jan Culek. The before picture was minted as Nifty Tree #22 (edition of 5), the after shot was minted as Nifty Tree #22.1 (edition of 1), and see the full collection for Nifty Trees: Origin — Nifty Tree #22 collection here. Anyone who joined the demo was airdropped an NFT to their Tezos wallet and we randomly selected one participant to receive the #22.1 1/1! Check out the time-lapse video from our YouTube channel here.
